Each year over 250 groups
and organizations agree with that sentiment and select
Poplar Creek to host their golf tournament. With
affordable rates, a magnificent banquet facility that
overlooks the lake and waterfall at the eighteenth green
and can accommodate up to 200 people, and a course design
that is fun for all skill levels (five lakes and four sets
of tees), Poplar Creek is the ideal venue for your next
golf outing. When planning your next event, whether its 16

Reserving
a Date
Poplar Creek sets aside 15% of its tee times each year for
tournament bookings. Groups with a minimum of 16 people
can reserve an advance date for a tournament. Poplar
Creek begins accepting reservations on April 1st for the
following year. Reservation requests received by April
1st are processed on a random basis, with date conflicts
resolved on the following priority basis:

Course Sponsored Tournaments (County Championships,
etc.)

Sponsored Tournaments (Gary Yates Memorial Tournament)

Women’s Club Tournaments

To reserve a
date, please mail your request, together with a
self-addressed, stamped envelope to Tournament Director,
Poplar Creek Golf Course, 1700 Coyote Point Drive, San
Mateo, CA 94401. Requests received before April 1st will
be held until that date. Include the following information
in your reservation request:

Reservation
Confirmation letters will be sent out by June 1st. All
reservation requests submitted prior to June 1st for the
next year must be in writing. After June 1st, inquires
about available dates may be made by phoning 650-522-4653
